Michael Malakhov, Ph.D.

Founder and Principal Consultant

I was always fascinated with biology, chemistry, cooking and flavors. After getting my M.S. in Biochemistry, I went to complete doctorate studies at the Institute of Plant Physiology in Moscow and National Institute of Basic Biology, Okazaki, Japan. Later I did academic research in Naples, Italy, and The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, California. From 2002, I worked for several biotech startups developing biopharmaceuticals, and in 2012, I finally decided to start my own business, combining my passion for herbs, sciences, medicine, and flavors.
